Youth Events
The Langston Hughes youth events have been a motivating program for our youth in Rhode Island. Through Langston Hughes’ words, the youth programming has allowed young readers to identify and share their artistic talents, particularly those in the urban core cities of Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls.
Our next inspirational program will be called "Identity,” and we need to raise $10,000 to make it what our youth deserve happen.
Will you help and support this event? Your donations are tax-deductible.
"Youth" by Langston Hughes
We have to-morrow
Bright before us
Like a flame
Yesterday, a night-gone thing
A sun-down name
And dawn to-day
Broad arch above the road we came,
We march.
The Langston Hughes Community Poetry Reading Community would like to thank all of our Youth Event Collaborators
