Black Women and Dance Discussion

Join us Saturday, February 24 at 1PM for a necessary discussion about dance education, Black history in New England, youth development in the performing arts and women entrepreneurs. April Brown, Rhode Island native and co-director of the Langston Hughes Community Poetry Reading, will moderate the intergenerational and interstate panel discussion with dance studio owners Dee Dee Handy Morris (Dee Dee’s Dance Center, CT) and Claude Michelle Oliveira (Valiant Arts, RI). This event at MPACT, in Pawtucket, is free and open for all to come.
